In 1582, while attending church services at the Cathedral of Pisa, Galileo's attention was attracted to a chandelier set into motion by air currents. He noticed that the period of oscillation of a chandelier did not depend on how large the swings were, but only on the length of the pendulum. Later mathematicians proved this theory, physicists developed the Huygens pendulum clock based on this principle. Electromagnetic swing is like a pendulum, regardless of the size of the swing, swinging back and forth essentially for the same period, this is the period of a pendulum invariance principle.
